Torrie Wilson

Torrie Anne Wilson (born July 24 1975) is an American professional wrestler who was also a model. Wilson is most well-known for her involvement in World Wrestling Entertainment, formerly called the World Wrestling Federation. She was also an official Miss Galaxy competitor in 1999. The following year she was accepted by World Championship Wrestling (WCW) which she was with from 1999 to 2000. [2][7][8] In 2001, she began being in World Wrestling Federation (WWF) television, as part of The Invasion (by WCW, of the then- WWF) storyline. One of her most famous storylines occurred in 2002 when she was feuding with Dawn Marie,[5][9] as well as 2003, with Sable. Wilson was also a part of Vince's Devils stable, which was all female. In 2002, Wilson faced Dawn Marie. [5][9] and 2003 in 2003, she fought Sable. Wilson began her career in wrestling in 1999 when she went to a World Championship Wrestling show. After returning to the stage She was then asked to go to the ring along with Scott Steiner. [7] Kevin Nash later expressed interest in the storyline. Her first appearance was on the episode of Nitro 8 February 1999 (later named "Samantha") The plot revealed that Wilson was lured into the company of David Flair by the New World Order. They were seen together on February 21st during SuperBrawl IX when Wilson slapped Ric in the face, and David attacked Ric with a taser. [15] Ric was awarded the WCW World Heavyweight Championship by Hollywood Hogan. This was in an Uncensored match , in which the Barbed Wire Steel Cage match was played. David and Wilson took a break in April from WCW television, only to return to the arena in May. Wilson was Flair's valet in the 1999 Bash at the Beach. He was successful in defending the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship from Dean Malenko.
