Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. The mother of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist named Anya Taylor-Joy. The father of her was Argentine who had Scottish as well as English ancestry. Her mother's ancestral lineage is Spanish and English. Taylor Joy also has 4 siblings. One of them is at each one of their parents' previous marriages. Buenos Aires was her home until she turned six, when the family moved from the city of Victoria in London. Taylor Joy stated that moving from Buenos Aires to Victoria was difficult and she did not take the time to learn English and was hoping to go home to Argentina. Hill House became her school that she chose after being required to switch schools. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she studied dance and performed in plays. After she turned 16, Taylor-Joy dropped out to concentrate on her acting career. At a very young age, Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to be an actor and her dreams came true when she was offered a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
